I'm thrilled by their responses. Trump isn't fit to kiss their shiny shoes, and they have the guts to say so. I imagine that Trump's team has kept him from seeing this, but he'll probably find out and his Twitter rant will be a glorious thing to behold.
ReplyDeleteWe need our leaders to speak out. Trump thinks that giving the military a fuckton of money will buy their loyalty, but I hope they all speak out against him.
donnah - we've read about how much of the brass is appalled at Rump, but are taking more of a passive/ aggressive approach. The "delay" of Rump's self- glorifying military parade ($92 million) strikes us as waiting him out until the Dems control the House and put the kibosh on it. Also the American Legion came out against it once the cost ballooned from $12 to nearly $100 million -- all to give Rump a thrill up his leg.
