Cohen: Trump "Disloyal To This Country"

There are new reports that former Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen has spoken extensively for hours with investigators and prosecutors on the Mueller team, with representatives of the Southern District of New York attending. The broad scope of the discussions between Mueller's team and Cohen are described by Vanity Fair's Emily Jane Fox:
"One person familiar with Cohen’s conversations explained that while Mueller’s focus is on Russia, their discussions have gone beyond potential collusion. 'He’s committed to working with Mueller on everything,' this person said. 'Everything. It’s been him saying, ‘these are the many things I’ve lived with for 10 years.’ He is no longer behind Donald Trump with a shovel. He wants to tell the truth about why Donald Trump is unsuitable to be president, about how he is not only dangerous for the country, but disloyal to this country as well.'" (our emphasis)
In addition to being con man and unindicted co-conspirator Donald "Rump" Trump's bag man for payoffs to porn stars, Cohen was also a link with the Russian mob in New York City and would have had knowledge of financial transactions between them and Rump. The New York State tax authority is also in the loop for violations of state income tax fraud and the ongoing lawsuit against the corrupt, self-dealing Trump Foundation. We're anxiously awaiting the details of those things that show Rump's disloyalty to the country.

The fact that Cohen is tied in to Federal prosecutions (Mueller and SDNY) and the State of New York's prosecutors must worry Rump to no end, knowing "the many things (Cohen's) lived with for 10 years."

I hope Cohen has spilled his guts and will keep spilling his guts until Team Mueller has everything they need to bust Trump, his sons, his daughter, and every single scumbag who has ever had anything to do with them. With the new Rosenstein flak, it looks like Mueller's timeline is nearing the end and Trump will get the investigations disappeared before the truths come out.

I'm glad Cohen figured out that Trump's “loyalty pledge” is a one way street, where you pledge your life to him and he gets whatever he can take from you, and then you get caught, only to find out that the loyalty is gone. Cohen is a cheat and a liar, too, but now that he's facing real prison time, he has to try to take that prison time to the minimum.

The whole pack of these criminals needs to go to prison. But since it's almost impossiblle to put rich white men away, I'll be content with charges filed, suspects tried and found guilty, public humiliation, and the loss of their millions. Prison time would be the icing on the cake.

donnah - our best end game hope lies in the fact that Mueller and his team are infinitely smarter that Rump's legal posse and further along in the investigation than anyone really knows. We've read that he's got some tricks up his sleeve to make sure the investigations proceed even if he's shut down (priming the Grand Jury with sealed indictments already and farming work out to the SDNY and coordinating with the NY AG's office for example).

I've read that, too, and hope that all of those things are in place. We know that once Trump sets his peabrain to do something, he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen, usually illegally. I believe in Mueller and I know he's always several steps ahead of the game. I just would rather he doesn't lose his job at the whim of this orange marmalade moron.
