Poll: Dems Lead In AZ and TN Senate Races
With the usual caveat that the polls are only as good as the people who actually show up to vote, the latest CNN / SSRS poll conducted September 11 - 15 indicates that the Democratic Senate candidates in Arizona and Tennessee are ahead of their Rethuglican opponents 49 days before the mid-term elections.
In Arizona, Rep. Krysten Sinema is ahead of Rethuglican Rep. Martha McSally by 7 points in a race to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Jeff Flake. In Tennessee, former Governor Phil Bredesen leads his Rethuglican challenger and Trump suck-up Rep. Marsha Blackburn by 5 points. Both leads are outside the sampling error of 4.3%.
In both Arizona and Tennessee, healthcare is the most important issue to the voters (29% and 25% respectively), with voters trusting Dems on the issue (75% -14%, and 71% - 21% respectively). Corrupt narcissistic con man Donald "Rump" Trump is clearly a drag on the Senate races for Rethugs in both states, especially in Arizona where Rump has a 39% approval / 57% disapproval rating split.
