Mid-Week Imagine Song
It's hard to "imagine" music today without the immense contribution of The Beatles. John Lennon would have been 78 yesterday, had he not died at the hands of a deranged shooter in 1980. Shout out, too, to our Silver Spring Bureau Chief who shares his birthday with the great composer / musician. It seems like a good choice less than a month before the mid-terms, too.

I always associate this song with slow dancing in junior high school. The beauty of the song is timeless and reassuring and it's still important to believe it, in spite of everything going on in the world today.
