Weekend Music

We were all set to go with another weekend song, but heard of the passing yesterday of the great singer/ actress Nancy Wilson at the age of 81.  Calling herself a "song stylist," Wilson performed in the jazz, blues, R&B, and pop genres over the course of her long, distinguished career, recording more than 70 albums, winning three Grammys for her jazz and R&B vocal work and an Emmy for her late 60's television show.  She also was a significant figure in the civil rights movement, garnering multiple honors from the NAACP and other civil rights organizations for her social activism.  It was an easy choice to share 5 minutes of her beautiful voice with you today.  Rest in peace.
