Trump Loses Obamacare Skirmish

A Federal District Court judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration's rules regarding employers' ability to opt out of providing birth control as part of health coverage offered to their employees. The ruling affects 13 states and the District of Columbia, and effectively blocked the implementation of the anti-choice rules from being implemented tomorrow.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) required employers to cover contraception as part of the health care plans they provided to their employees, with exemptions for religious institutions. Neo-fascist sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump and his Rethuglican enablers have been trying to sabotage the ACA -- popularly known as Obamacare -- and have targeted women's reproductive care as part of their efforts.
