EU Promises Retaliation On Car Tariffs

At this past weekend's Munich Security Conference, German Chancellor Angela Merkel mocked the "America First" economic nonsense being peddled by incompetent buffoon and Kremlin asset Donald "Rump" Trump. She noted that his regime's threatened imposition of tariffs on cars from the European Union (e.g., BMWs) was absurd, given that BMW's largest plant was in South Carolina. Merkel was incredulous that the rationale given for the proposed tariffs was the U.S.'s "national security." Meanwhile in the audience, First Shady and object of her daddy's lust Ivanka "Complicit" Trump sat as though butter wouldn't melt in her mouth (by the way, what on earth is she doing at a conference of senior allied officials? Taking notes for Putin?).

In response to Rump's threatened tariffs, the European Union announced today that they wouldn't hesitate in responding forcefully. From the spokesman for the EU's European Commission:
"The European Commission is aware of the conclusion of an investigation by the U.S. Department of Commerce on whether car imports represent a threat to U.S. national security. Where this report translates into actions detrimental to European exports, the European Commission would react in a swift and adequate manner."
We're hoping that if these moves by the Rump regime result in the closing of that plant in Secessionist South Carolina, Rump and his enabling toady Sen. Lindsey Graham will get hammered in 2020.
