The Detroit Free Press has all the links to iconic Democratic legislator (and hilarious tweeter) John Dingell, who died yesterday at age 92. R.I.P.

I've been reading his tweets and responses to Trump, and Dingell was a sage and honest man. Not to mention hilarious! He served with honor, dignity, and intelligence, and I hope he'll be remembered for that and more.
ReplyDeleteI recall him keeping our noses to the grindstone in several programs at the agency, and I felt frustrated somewhat by his loyalty to automakers. But he knew what he was doing and was a master of the rules and over questioning those testifying on the hill. One did not respond lightly to Mr. Dingell nor ignore his considerable expertise and power. At the end of the day I believe he made our programs better by his scrutiny and many of them have endured thereby. P.E.C.
