Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley (D) has announced that he'll be bringing a mother and daughter separated at the border as his guests for tomorrow night's State of the Union lie-fest with sociopath and bigot Donald "Rump" Trump. Albertina Contreras Teletor and her daughter Yakelin Garcia Contreras, who will turn 12 tomorrow, were separated from each other for two months last spring as a result of the Rump regime's despicable policy of separating immigrant parents from their children. In his statement, Sen. Merkley said:
“This child separation policy came from a dark and evil place within the heart of this administration. Innocent children suffered because of deeds that were carried out in our names and using our tax dollars as Americans. I’m bringing Albertina and Yakelin as my guests to the State of the Union because we need to bear witness to the suffering that this cruel policy inflicted, and resolve to make sure that nothing like this ever happens in the United States of America again.”Good job, Senator. THAT's how it should be played with the racist Rump regime. There are perhaps thousands of children still separated from their parents, and in a court filing just last Friday, the Rump regime admitted that some children may never be reunited with their parents, and that the regime hasn't the resources to follow-up, while it's asking $5.7 billion for a manhood wall for Rump.
This follows the report that New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D) will be bringing two undocumented workers fired from Rump's Bedminster, New Jersey golf club to the State of the Union, and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) will be bringing a sexual assault survivor Ana Maria Archila who confronted former Sen. Jeff "The Flake" Flake at the time of beer-loving assaulter Brett "KavaNot" Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing. More, please (what, Stormy wouldn't come?)!
This should be good when the cameras pan the gallery.
