I saw an interview once during the Special Olympics. It was a race, maybe a hundred yard dash, and halfway through, the boy who was about to cross the finish line pulled up and waited for the rest of the kids to cross. Someone asked him why he stopped and he said, “I was waiting for my friends.”
This is what Betsy and Trump will never understand. They lack the compassion and grace that these special kids have, and they will never have it. I know where I want my tax dollars to go.
