One of the great mysteries of the Russiagate saga is the presence of lawyer-from-hell and gaffe machine Rudy "Ghouliani" Giuliani. During a discussion yesterday on CBS' Face The Nation, Giuliani said that the House Judiciary Committee should get all of the information in Special Counsel Mueller's report, despite his corrupt client and Putin pal Donald "Not Exonerated" Trump's growing resistance to doing just that. Here's the exchange, courtesy of Think Progress:
MARGARET BRENNAN: Would you like to respond to the congressman who says he has the right and the committee has the right for all of this information. Do you agree that the public has the right? This is one of the rare times we'd agree with him. No wonder he's been laying low (relatively) the past few weeks. Nearly every time he appears on TV, he manages to go off script and get his corrupt client in a deeper hole. We'd offer a twist on the old adage about self-representation: Anyone who has a fool for a lawyer is a fool of a client.
RUDY GIULIANI: I would like him to get all the information.
MARGARET BRENNAN: Including the things that are protected–
GIULIANI: Everything. (our emphasis)
