Legislation We Can Be "Fore!"

Grifting con man and Very Extremely Stable Genius Donald "Bone Spurs" Trump has spent more time golfing than any previous President by far. Yesterday, fresh off a visit to his golf club in Doonbeg, Ireland, Trump golfed at his Sterling, Virginia course (where he golfed just before his trip to the U.K.). The incessant golfing costs the American taxpayer, for security, his entourage, transportation and other costs, and the fat duffer has racked up some $106 million so far in two-and-a-half years. That's bad enough, but the fact that he golfs mainly at his own clubs means that he and his corrupt family pocket money spent there, as well as benefitting from free advertising.

The former White House ethics chief Walter Shaub has a great proposal for legislation: the "Golf On Your Own Damn Dime Act of 2019":

How about a law that says anytime POTUS visits a property on or adjacent to a golf course, he/she must pay for all costs incurred by the entourage from the minute he/she left the White House until he/she is back inside the White House? The Golf On Your Own Damn Dime Act of 2019

That $106 million could have fed tens of thousands or provided for early childhood education. But as long as his entitled, fat ass is taken care of, that's what matters.
