Tee Time In Ireland

International laughing stock and bilious buffoon Donald "Rump" Trump can't go a week  few days without hitting the golf links. Today, he's in Ireland to play golf at his course in Doonbeg. He had asked Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to meet him at the golf course, but the Irish leader declined to give Trump a free advertisement (Varadkar respects our emoluments clause more than Rethugs do). The upshot of Varadkar's decision is that Trump will have a brief meeting at Shannon Airport's VIP lounge before Trump heads off to play golf. It's a delicious counterpoint to the pomp of Buckingham Palace, and we hope Trump enjoys the loudspeakers blaring flight information while he chats with Varadkar.

Look up “tacky” in the dictionary app and I imagine you'll see a photo of Trump. He is a dreadful representative of our country when he goes abroad, either kowtowing to Russia and North Korea or insulting former allies. He can't be bothered to pay a proper visit to the Irish leader, asking him to meet him at his golf course instead? Good lord, what an asshole!

Every day that Trump is president, we as a nation slide further down the scale of trust, respect, honor, and reliability. We will have no true allies anymore, at least ones we have always had. Trump has moved us into dangerous allegiances with unsafe and dishonest leaders who should not be part of our national cooperatives.

donnah -- Once again, he's displaying his selfishness and disregard for other nations, virtually summoning the Irish leader to his golf course property. Good that Varadkar didn't take the bait.
