Mueller Testimony Today

It will be hard to avoid watching the testimony today of Special Counsel Robert Mueller (but then who would want to avoid it except red hat cult?).  All the broadcast networks and cable news channels will be covering it starting at 8:30 am EDT.

Mueller will begin with testimony to the House Judiciary Committee at 8:30 am, followed by testimony to the House Intelligence Committee at noon.  The morning session will cover the obstruction of justice portion of the Mueller report and the afternoon session will cover the Trump campaign contacts with Russians interfering in the 2016 election.

We know at least one Putin puppet is already in panic mode about the testimony.  Let's hope when it's all over he had good reason to panic.

  1. I'm home today and I plan to watch. It's silly, but I have butterflies in my stomach! If it gets contentious I may have to switch it off. Watching Gym Jordan sputtering and Louis Gohmert fumbling around might drive me away. They're both more stupid than a bag of hammers and will be falling over themselves to try to make Mueller look bad. Compared to those two, my kitchen table is a genius.

I have tamped down any amount of hope that this event will make a difference in our favor. We seem to be thwarted at every turn. I just want, for once, to have the truths be told and heard.

    Fingers crossed!

  2. Expect little and then the disappointment won't be near as bad.

  3. The Republican tactic is to go after Mueller's techniques and legal approach rather than the facts. It's all they've got. No Republican has said anything about the facts discovered because they can't refute them.
