Mid-Week Difference Song

Tomorrow, the late r&b and jazz singer Dinah Washington might have celebrated her 95th birthday. She was arguably the most popular African-American female singer of the 1950s, winning the Grammy for her best-known song, "What A Difference A Day Makes." She died at the age of 39 before she could realize her full potential as a singer and songwriter, but not before leaving a legacy that would influence singers for years to come.
