QOTD -- Lost

"A win for farmers would be to get the markets back but listen, and I'll tell you, I don't think we get China back. I think China is a lost market for agriculture and there's just too much damage done there." --  National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson, in a radio interview yesterday with KFGO's Joel Heitkamp (yes, Heidi's brother), Fargo, ND.  China already has new markets identified that it will access in the future (e.g., Brazil, which is burning up parts of the Amazon rain forest to accommodate China's soybean demand that once was met by American farmers -- a sick, ironic outcome of the idiocy of Donald "The Chosen One" Trump's trade war).  "...China is a lost market for agriculture" -- thanks, Trump!
