The U.S. v. Rudy Giuliani: A Mock Indictment

Former U.S. Attorneys Barbara McQuade and Joyce Vance, who now teach law at the University of Michigan and the University of Alabama respectively, have a "thought experiment" or mock indictment that they've crafted against corrupt dirt digger and Trump's unhinged TV lawyer Rudy "Rudy Colludey" Giuliani, and his unnamed "co-conspirator" which is obviously Russian asset and sociopathic demagogue Donald "Individual-1" Trump, on their deepening Ukraine shake down scandal.

They point out that the mock "indictment" is based on publicly available information, but that there is so much available now that it advances our understanding of Giuliani's legal criminal peril. Here is a summary of the three counts:
Conspiracy to Defraud the U.S. in "knowingly and intentionally conspired to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the Federal Election Commission in administering federal requirements that prohibit soliciting, accepting or receiving a thing of value from a foreign national in connection with a federal election."

Conspiracy to Commit Bribery in "corruptly seek a thing of value, that is, an agreement by the government of Ukraine to publicly announce that it was investigating certain matters that were favorable to Individual-1’s political campaign, in return for being influenced in the performance of an official act, that is, releasing to Ukraine military aid that had been approved by Congress."

Contempt of Congress for failing to produce subpoenaed documents required by Congress in the impeachment inquiry.
Rudy Colludey has been back and forth over whether he needs to hire his own lawyer. Reading this detailed draft "indictment" prepared by two of the sharpest former prosecutors might persuade him.
