Trump's Unhinged Letter To Erdoğan

It's a given that buffoonish con man and Russian asset Donald "Impeachable Me" Trump is an unfit, mentally unstable national security risk. His reckless move allowing Turkey to attack our Kurdish allies, thereby emboldening ISIS as well as Syria and their Russian sponsor, stands as Exhibit A. Earlier today, the White (Supremacist) House released a loony, threatening letter dated October 9 to Turkish autocrat Erdoğan that reads like a parody of an organized crime figure pushing a bad real estate deal. It was written after Trump gave Turkey the green light to invade Syria on October 6, and the same day Turkish troops crossed the border (click to enlarge):

He clearly was prevailed upon to dictate the letter after he was told of the disaster his action had brought about, and he's trying to fix something he's broken by twisting Erdoğan's arm in a crude, thuggish way. He's unraveling in front of us, as the impeachment inquiry brings more officials forward to testify about Trump's corrupt activity regarding his actions toward Ukraine, carried out by clownish mudslinger Rudy "Rudy Colludey" Giuliani and his co-conspirators.

BONUS:   Today, the House voted 354-60 to condemn Trump's withdrawal of troops from northern Syria.  It's likely what prompted the latest Trump meltdown in a White House meeting this afternoon with Congressional Democrats.

BONUS II:  Comedian and Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik does the dramatic reading --

Fuck them. This will have absolutely zero impact on the situation on the ground in Syria. I'm outraged that they wasted their time on this instead of working on imposing sanctions on Turkey. Several European countries imposed an arms embargo on Turkey days ago. When is our own Congress going to stop fucking around with utterly meaningless posturing expressions of verbal disapproval and take some concrete action?

Apparently Trump was handing out copies of the letter because he thought it showed how tough he is. Nancy Pelosi was appalled by it. And I read that Erdogan read it, wadded it up, threw it in the trash can and immediately proceeded to order the attack on the Kurds.

Pelosi kicked Trump's fat ass in the meeting yesterday, saying Trump had just opened up a foothold for Putin in the Middle East.

Also, on a very sad note, Elijah Cummings passed away. He was a true beacon for humanity, civil rights, dignity and strength. I don't know how we can replace him. RIP, good sir.

Infidel -- It's classic moral posturing, objecting once the deed is done. If and when they act in a meaningful way on sanctions, the damage will be done and lasting.

donnah-- All good points. We have a firehose of outrages coming out of the Russian usurper. Losing Cummings hurts this country, given his decency and example to all of us.
