North Korea To Trump: Stop Wasting Our Time

Desperate to try to shift attention from the impeachment inquiry that is documenting his act of bribery with Ukraine, con man and corrupt narcissist Donald "The Chosen One" Trump suggested this morning in a tweet that he and North Korean tyrant Kim Jong Un should have another photo op summit. North Korea responded swiftly, and not in a way that Trump wanted, with North Korean Foreign Ministry official Kim Kye Gwan issuing this statement:
“Three rounds of DPRK-U.S. summit meetings and talks were held since June last year, but no particular improvement has been achieved in the DPRK-U.S. relations ... the U.S. only seeks to earn time, pretending it has made progress in settling the issue of the Korean Peninsula
We are no longer interested in such talks that bring nothing to us. As we have got nothing in return, we will no longer gift the U.S. president with something he can boast of, but get compensation for the successes that President Trump is proud of as his administrative achievements.” (our emphasis)
Kim had set an end-of-year deadline for an agreement to resuscitate the denuclearization talks. Few experts believe that North Korea will ever give up its nuclear weapons, which it sees as the only deterrent to regime change, like what happened in Libya when Gadaffi relinquished his nuclear weapons facilities and lost his life.

After North Korea played Trump by sending him a flattering letter, a naive and narcissistic Trump has groveled to Kim in the hopes that he'll be seen as a great statesman by his Red Cap Cult. Having thus foolishly placed himself in a weakened position, Trump's only succeeded in encouraging Kim to demand more concessions -- the latest being yesterday's announcement of an indefinite postponement of joint U.S. - South Korean military exercises -- without getting anything in return for the U.S.
