Iraqi Parliament Votes To Expel U.S. Troops (UPDATED)

We're certain this was fully gamed- out ahead of time by malignant moron and Giant Toddler Donald "Rump" Trump:
Iraq’s parliament voted to demand the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country on Sunday following U.S. President Donald Trump’s order to assassinate a high-profile Iranian military leader there.
The vote came after Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi advised parliament to expel the troops in response to the attack Trump authorized last week on Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani while the commander was at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. Soleimani was a senior commander of Iran’s Quds Force and one of the most powerful figures in the Middle East. The assassination killed eight others, including Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the leader of a powerful Iraqi militia.
This should eliminate whatever limited leverage we had in keeping Iran's influence from gaining strength in this deeply divided country.  So now our remaining chief ally in the gulf region is =checks notes= the regime of Crown Prince Bone Saw, Iran's regional and sectarian rival. We're certain they have no malign intent in all of this.

UPDATE:  Iran is now saying it will no longer abide by any limits of the 2015 nuclear agreement, designed to keep it from enriching uranium for nuclear weapons.  How long before their enrichment sites are hit by U.S. forces?  The unraveling is proceeding apace, but never fear!  Trump and his goons say we're safer now!

Trump's getting his wish of isolating the US from the rest of the world, but he's doing it by alienating allies and friends and enraging our enemies. And the Cheese Stands Alone, with the nation exposed and vulnerable, while others mock us and shake their heads in disbelief.

He will get us all killed.

donnah -- the question always remains, whose interest is being served? The answer is always (short term) Trump and (longer term) Putin.
