Trump's Malicious Words Against Climate Change

It's always gut-wrenching when unstable demagogue and  con man Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump travels abroad and diminishes our country by his words and actions. Today, he arrived in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting, a collection of heads of government, corporate executives, and major players on the world scene. Despite the theme of the meeting being "sustainability," Trump delivered a reactionary, belligerent and deceitful attack on the reality of climate change. Cluelessly, he boasted about the U.S. economy, mocked "prophets of doom" on the environment, and bragged about the U.S.'s gains in fossil fuel / oil production.

In contrast to Trump's message of "nothing to see here, and my donors are getting richer," climate activist Greta Thunberg, who had to sit through Trump's garbage, later reminded the audience that there are real, visible and catastrophic effects of refusing to deal with global warming:
"I wonder, what will you tell your children was the reason to fail and leave them facing... climate chaos that you knowingly brought upon them? That it seemed so bad for the economy that we decided to resign the idea of securing future living conditions without even trying? [snip]
"Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fuelling the flames by the hour, and we are telling you to act as if you loved your children above all else."
Trump infamously pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord, which every nation had signed on to with the exception of Syria and North Korea. It would have endeavored to stem the rise of temperatures world wide by voluntary measures in shifting from fossil fuel to renewable energy, conservation and other actions. The evidence of the disaster that is already beginning can be seen in the type of years-long droughts that fueled the massive fires in Australia (and will threaten the U.S. west each year):

It would have been far better for humanity if we had sent Trump off for a few days to play golf, than stand before world leaders and talk like an angry lunatic.

When I saw the orange sack of poop in his ill fitting blue suit his fat ass perched on the edge of a chair like he always does, I thought, what fresh hell of embarrassment in front of the world is that poison spitting devil going to unleash today?

His enablers refuse to defend the country. I'm not religious but I pray he dies soon.

Tom -- We wonder how long -- if ever -- it will take for this country to repair the profound damage he's done. With his lifestyle and his increasing unraveling mentally, we wouldn't bet on his longevity.
