Tweets Of The Day -- Bolton's Offer

News item: Former National Security Advisor John Bolton is now "prepared to testify" if subpoenaed in a Senate impeachment trial

Call us cynical, but we smell a rat -- a bureaucratic- infighter rat with a mustache nicknamed "General Snowball."  Now that Bone Spurs is backing us into an armed conflict with Iran -- a Bolton wet dream -- perhaps he believes supporting him by sabotaging the impeachment is the right play to make.  Not offering testimony to the House impeachment inquiry sure makes it look like he's got, or wants to make, a sweetheart deal with Moscow Mitch for Bone Spur- friendly testimony, or he knows witnesses won't be called at all.  Rep. Schiff should call his bluff and subpoena him immediately.

  1. Why would anyone trust Bolton? He's been working both sides all along. And with a new book coming out, it seems he's positioning himself to grab attention and publicity to boost sales.

Noted warmonger, willing Trump team player until he wasn't, Bolton is not to be trusted.

  2. donnah -- we can't help but feel this is a trap laid for Democrats. The best way to trip it would be for Bolton to be subpoenaed by the House, which still has the ability to add supporting information to its Articles of Impeachment. If he declines a lawful subpoena, he's got a hidden agenda.
