The Culling Continues: Klobuchar Out (UPDATED)

The "moderate" lane loses another candidate, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN):
In the wake of his big win in South Carolina, the moderate lane of the Democratic presidential primary is clearing quickly for former Vice President Joe Biden. Sen. Amy Klobuchar is suspending her campaign and immediately endorsing Biden, according to reports.
There's some serious consolidating going on, folks.  There've been reports of contacts between Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden following Buttigieg's withdrawal yesterday.

Super Tuesday is, of course, tomorrow.

UPDATE:  Reports are that Buttigieg is also set to endorse Biden, perhaps tonight at the same Biden rally in Texas where Klobuchar will provide hers.

  1. I watched it last night and at first it sounded like Amy was actually still running, because her endorsement of Biden was full of Amy Tales. But in the end she came around and said she was backing Joe. I'm glad she and Pete made the decision to concede the race, and I help it hope it helps Joe instead of Bernie.
