Trump's Revenge Served Cold
The very stable genius and sociopathic con artist Donald "Cheat-o" Trump is nothing if not vindictive. Recall that former (Confederate States) Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard Sessions recused himself from the Mueller investigation, making it more difficult for Trump to obstruct it. Trump never forgave him for not undermining the investigation into his and his campaign's links with the Kremlin ("Russia, if you're listening"), which was supposed to have been swept under the rug after the elections.
Serving his revenge cold, Trump has endorsed Sessions' rival, former Auburn coach and die-hard Trumpist Tommy Tuberville, in the Republican primary run-off in Alabama. Sessions is running for his old Senate seat (given up to be Trump's AG). Ironically, Sessions was the first Senator to endorse Trump in the 2016 elections. Lesson learned too late for the hapless Sessions: As a narcissistic sociopath, Trump will use you until you're of no benefit to him.
The winner of the runoff will face vulnerable incumbent Dem Sen. Doug Jones in November.
