Here's a very recent, small sampling of malignant sociopath Donald "COVID Donny" Trump- supporting "very responsible people."
There's this charlatan, again:
Louisiana police have issued an arrest warrant for the Rev. Tony Spell, accusing him of driving a church bus toward a person protesting his refusal to halt services during the coronavirus pandemic.
The warrant charges Spell with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police in Central, Louisiana, told WAFB-TV. The pastor allegedly backed a church bus toward a man protesting church services on Sunday. Video footage obtained by the TV station shows the bus stopping several feet from the protester.
Maybe Jesus should take the wheel, preacher man.Spell has made national headlines in recent weeks for keeping the Life Tabernacle Church open in defiance of coronavirus restrictions, and for urging followers to donate their stimulus checks to evangelists, missionaries and music ministers. At least one church member has died from COVID-19. (our emphasis)
Then there's this unnamed clown in Utah:
A man in Utah has been arrested for vowing to start a “civil war” in Salt Lake City unless its mayor agrees to end lockdown policies that were designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that a 58-year-old man was arrested last week after he called the office of Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall and said that he would work to “forcibly remove” her from office unless she ended the lockdown.
“There’s a protest tomorrow and if things don’t change, a civil war is coming, and the police can’t stop me,” he also said in his phone call. (our emphasis)Apparently the police can, numbnut.
How about another right- wing con man just trying to make a dishonest buck off the pandemic:
According to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail, the organizer of a Michigan lockdown protest has claimed that nutrition supplements that he takes can beat coronavirus. The Daily Mail also reports that Garrett Soldano is also a national marketing director for Juice+, a controversial supplement company that was once endorsed by O.J. Simpson.
Soldano, who is also a former Denver Broncos linebacker, said that he gives the supplements to his own family so that if they’re infected with coronavirus, they’ll “get over it” and turn their bodies “into an environment of greatness” that will allow them to “dominate any virus.” [snip]
Soldano started the Michiganders Against Excessive Quarantine Facebook page which has over 360,000 followers. His page’s anti-lockdown posts sparked people to storm the State Capitol in Lansing. (our emphasis)Oh, well, if O.J. Simpson, PhD'oh, endorsed it, it must be legit!
Finally, a little knife play and kidnapping action for good measure:
A Southern California man was charged with kidnapping after threatening a TV news photographer with a knife during a coronavirus protest.
Police said Christien Petersen, who is believed to be an attorney, approached a KTTV-TV news photographer with a pocket knife and ordered him to a nearby live truck to delete any video that he might have appeared in, the station reported. [snip]
The 36-year-old Costa Mesa man, who appeared to be intoxicated, was still holding the photographer at knifepoint inside the news van when officers arrived, according to police. (our emphasis)If he has a "law degree" perhaps it was issued by Trump University. Maybe he was intoxicated on Juice+ "supplements." Dominate that virus!
Then, there are just the garden variety sociopaths and ho- hum social Darwinist "sanctity of lifers."
Something tells us COVID Donnie doesn't have the best judgement when it comes to identifying "very responsible people" (or "fine people on both sides").
