Trump Losing Public On COVID-19 Response

A new poll out today from Politico/Morning Consult indicates that the public thinks bungling sociopath Donald "Moron Vector" Trump isn't doing enough to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. By a margin of 47 to 40, voters say that Trump's too little to late response hasn't been enough.

His previous "bounce" reflected a "rally round the flag" sentiment in the earlier days of the outbreak, perhaps fueled by Trump's dishonest happy talk about vaccines and therapies for the virus. Worries about the virus have negated that happy talk:
"Voters are increasingly worried about the coronavirus: 60 percent say they are 'very concerned' about the outbreak, up from 53 percent last week and 41 percent two weeks ago."
As governors across the country experience supply problems with needed personal protection equipment and ventilators, and as Trump has inserted his ego and need for flattery into the mix to punish some governors, public perception is changing. Indeed, governors are receiving collective good marks from their voters, although we can imagine the likes of Governors Ron De Santis (FL), Tate Reeves (MS), and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (TX) bring the average way down with their dangerous Trumpian denial.

BONUS: It shouldn't surprise anyone that Trump's steering COVID-19 protective materials to red states, like Florida, to boost his reelection chances.
