Trump's American Exceptionalism

Look for the only red line.  The key at the bottom says it all.

"Needs action."  Action needed:  remove Trump and Republicans from office.

It's even worse if you don't count New York's successful efforts to bend the curve;  the rest of the country is still seeing an increasing number cases, while Dear Leader is pushing for more states to "re- open" (click on image to enlarge):

Sic transit gloria, America.

I'm seriously concerned about this burst of reopenings across the country. I'm furious that Trump has forced state leaders under threat of distancing them from the support of the Party to concede to his demands to open for business. They're cowards, of course, and are allowing their own constituents to go forth and infect themselves and those around them.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about the people who are rushing to go to the Mall to shop for whatever they can't seem to live without. My concern lies with the factory workers and many others who will undoubtedly be exposed and be sickened by fellow workers. And I don't give a tin whistle for Trump and Pence's safety either, as they have deliberately put themselves, their staff, and countless others in danger.

Cautions were in place. the now hapless CDC issued specific warnings and guidelines. We will see what happens in two or three weeks after the nail salons, shopping centers, factories and restaurants all have been reopened. If no one else gets sick, I'll eat my words, but I'm scared for the rest of us.

donnah -- we suspect you won't have to eat your words (unfortunately, for the innocent people who'll die).
