Gutless cypher and Trump butt kisser VP Mike "Dense" Pence is nothing if not a sycophantic weasel. He visibly shrinks in the presence of his cult leader, sociopath and mentally unstable con man Donald "Bunker Boy" Trump, staring at him with a glassy, fawning look.
Pence was given an opportunity to simply state "black lives matter" in an interview with local ABC news reporter Brian Taff in Philadelphia yesterday. Here's what transpired:
"...Brian Taff described the ongoing protests against police brutality as fueled by the words “Black lives matter” and said to Pence, “There are only a handful of elected Republicans in Washington who have uttered those words, ‘Black lives matter.’ Are those words you will utter right here today? Can you say those words? 'Black lives matter'?” Pence replied, “Let me say that what happened to George Floyd was a tragedy. And in this nation, especially on Juneteenth, we celebrate the fact that from the founding of this nation we’ve cherished the ideal that all, all of us are created equal, and endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights. And so all lives matter in a very real sense.” (our emphasis)"All lives matter" is a slogan frequently used by racists who want to divert from the fact that it's black lives that are in jeopardy when they come in contact with police and the criminal justice system. It should be noted that Pence was given a second opportunity to acknowledge that black lives matter, and he declined to do so. It's also obscene that he links Juneteenth with the founding of the nation and the statement about all men being created equal. By now, he knows that Juneteenth celebrates the belated freedom of enslaved African-Americans in Texas in 1865, some 76 years after the adoption of the U.S. Constitution, which did not free enslaved African-Americans or recognize their human rights and liberty.
Pence will do nothing to offend the bigoted, alt-right base of Trump support, or the racist, Confederacy-embracing cult leader himself.

Pence is the worst kind of “Christian”, the fake kind who proclaims his virtue and love for the workings of Jesus, then defiles that same name by his actions, Like most Republicans, he's a CINO, and not a good one at that. Hypocrite, thy name is Pence.
