"The science should not stand in the way of this.” -- White House spokes- covidiot Kayleigh "Inane" McEnany, today, stating that COVID Donnie had once again said he wanted kids' butts in chairs at school this fall, regardless of scientists' warnings and the pandemic surging. That's the Trump regime's "policy," distilled into one sentence of depraved indifference and medieval ignorance.

Oh FFS, this is even worse than the lying. "The science should not stand in the way of this" is more revealing of the truth than anything else they've ever said. "Depraved indifference and medieval ignorance" is exactly right.
You have to feel a bit for McEnemy, though. For the rest of her life she will be known for this one quote. Some words are deservedly immortal.
