Trump's Signal To Sex Trafficker Maxwell

Accused sexual predator and sociopath Donald "Grab 'Em" Trump had his "rally" substitute yesterday in the White House press room, prompted by plummeting poll numbers. Aside from the mind-blowing statement that they were just now working on a "strategy" "as we go along" for addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, he responded to a question about whether he expected accused child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to go public with names of men involved (=cough= Trump), Grab 'Em said this:
I don’t know. I haven’t really been following it too much.  I just wish her well, frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach.  But I wish her well, whatever it is.(our emphasis)
Given Trump's past signaling to accused felons like Roger Stone that if they stick with him, they can expect a commutation or pardon, it's hard not to see this as a message to Maxwell that if she keeps his name out of her talks with prosecutors, he'd be "appreciative".

Trump has bragged about not only sexually assaulting women on the infamous Access Hollywood tape, he's said that as the one-time owner of the Miss Teen USA pageant, he would "walk in" on the contestants in various stages of undress. Of course, there are the two dozen some women, including columnist E. Jean Carroll who accused Trump of raping her, that have come forward in public to accuse him of sexual assault. Carroll is seeking a sample of Trump's DNA in her defamation suit against him.

Maxwell's trial on multiple felony counts begins in July 2021, potentially putting her out of Trump's pardon range if he's defeated in November (he could pardon her before leaving office and before she's tried). Prosecutors have time to squeeze information out of her and potentially negotiate a plea bargain in return for evidence of those powerful men that sexually abused the girls that Maxwell provided to them. We'll see if one of the names she offers up is one Donald J. Trump before he has time to "wish her well."
