DeJoy's "Straw Donor" Scheme Exposed (UPDATED)

There are reports that Trump's beady-eyed, corrupt Postmaster General and Postal Service saboteur  Louis "Delay" DeJoy used his former North Carolina company's employees to make donations to Republican candidates, and then reimbursed them. The "straw donor" scheme that DeJoy apparently used is a felony violation of both North Carolina and Federal campaign finance laws:
"Five people who worked for DeJoy’s former business, New Breed Logistics, say they were urged by DeJoy’s aides or by the chief executive himself to write checks and attend fundraisers at his 15,000-square-foot gated mansion beside a Greensboro, N.C., country club. There, events for Republicans running for the White House and Congress routinely fetched $100,000 or more apiece.
Two other employees familiar with New Breed’s financial and payroll systems said DeJoy would instruct that bonus payments to staffers be boosted to help defray the cost of their contributions, an arrangement that would be unlawful."  (our emphasis)
The attorney general for North Carolina should have ample cause to investigate these claims by multiple employees, and charge DeJoy accordingly. Moreover, when questioned about this scheme last month in testimony under oath before the House Oversight Committee, DeJoy angrily denied it, saying to Rep. Jim Cooper (D-TN), “That’s an outrageous claim, sir, and I resent it. . . . The answer is no." Given the credible reporting, that "no" is one count of perjury.

DeJoy may be counting on his cult leader to pardon him for not only the campaign finance felonies, but perjuring himself before Congress. Yet another one of thousands of reasons to vote the corrupt Mango Mussolini out in November.

UPDATE:  The House of Representatives has now opened an investigation of Delay for campaign finance violations and lying to Congress.
