Wink Leads To More Trump "Locker Room" Talk

Showing what an awful misogynist pig he is once again, life-long con man and sexual predator Donald "Grab 'Em" Trump reported joked that his former press secretary, Sarah "Huckster" Sanders "take one for the team" after murderous North Korean tyrant Kim Jong Un allegedly winked at her at the 2018 Singapore summit. The anecdote is contained in Sanders' upcoming fairy tale "Speaking For Myself" (ed. -- which she never did), which The Guardian obtained a copy of. From their account:

"....Sanders describes a session at the Singapore talks in which the dictator 'reluctantly' accepted a Tic Tac from Trump, who 'dramatically blew into the air to reassure Kim it was just a breath mint' and not a capsule of poison.

The two men also talked about sports, including women’s soccer. Then, Sanders writes, she looked up 'to notice Kim staring at me. We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me. I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes.

'… All I could think was, ‘What just happened? Surely Kim Jong-un did not just mark me!?'

Later, in the presidential 'Beast' limousine on the way to the airport, Sanders relayed the incident to Trump and his then chief of staff, John Kelly.

'Kim Jong-un hit on you!' Trump said. 'He did! He fucking hit on you!'" (our emphasis)

Trump offers Kim a TicTac? Was Trump planning on kissing the dictator, and did Kim know the history of Trump and TicTacs?  We wonder if Kim's bodyguards reached for their guns at that point. But it's the reaction that Trump gave to "evangelist" Sanders' story, and the vulgar way he expressed himself that's appalling and typical of him (Kelly doesn't win any points for honor either):

"Kelly backed up the president and Trump joked: 'Well, Sarah, that settles it. You’re going to North Korea and taking one for the team! Your husband and kids will miss you, but you’ll be a hero to your country!'

Trump and Kelly, Sanders writes, 'howled with laughter' as the car drove on." (our emphasis)

Imagine what this dangerous buffoon's done on other trips / photo ops. Also imagine Kim's anger at reading about his "wink" and Trump's reaction. As former Secretary of State John Kerry said during the DNC, Trump's visits abroad are blooper reels, and that's only what we see in public.
