Racist demagogue and mentally unstable liar Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump, who's still shedding the COVID-19 virus, has been on the wingnut Wurlitzer circuit the past few days, ranting about everything under the sun and beyond to the likes of pill popping Rush "Limpballs" Limbaugh to his Fux cult members. On Limbaugh's hate radio program yesterday, COVID Donnie was asked about protecting people with pre-existing conditions. Bear in mind that Trump is in the Supreme Court seeking to abolish the Affordable Care Act / Obamacare along with it's protection for people with pre-existing conditions. So he lied about it and what he was doing, which is nothing:
“What they do is they love to say that I’m going to get rid of pre-existing conditions,” Trump said. “No. I want to terminate Obamacare and then come up with a great, and we have come up with a great health care plan that’s much less expensive and does include people with pre-existing conditions. That’s what I want to do.”
Notice that he slipped and said a plan would be forthcoming before saying that he already had one. He doesn't and he won't. He's never been about a health insurance plan to replace the ACA. His whole objective is to trash the legacy of his predecessor, who humiliated him at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2011 while Trump sat and seethed. The crime is that by abolishing the ACA, Trump would rip affordable health insurance from 20 million Americans with no alternative during a pandemic, and weaken Medicaid for millions of low income families.
As Sen. Kamala Harris put it during the VP debate, "they're coming for you."
