Given days to prepare for the worst, the cops are... where?
President Trump explicitly told these people to go to the Capitol at the end of his speech. https://t.co/3fsiC0F0yk

Protesters have torn down a barrier. Fireworks going off outside the Capitol. People in a tower telling the crowd to press forward. "Move forward and we can beat them." Throwing things are police. Crowd pushing up chanting USA. This is unreal pic.twitter.com/FDEQu9HyPX

Big day for “what’s the harm in humoring him” anonymous quote guy.

Capitol Police? DC Metropolitan Police? National Guard? Bueller?
Now, if these were peaceful BLM protestors, they'd get it for sure! They certainly wouldn't be chatting with them outside the Senate chamber.
Meanwhile, add "inciting a riot" to the growing list of crimes committed by Mango Mussolini. After this, are there any Republicans with enough sack to go along with impeaching him on his way out the door? (Rhetorical question.)
apparently the police used up all their tear gas this summer.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I never understood from the first of his "rallies"; why was he never arrested for inciting violence?
ReplyDeleteI watched in horror as this unfolded. I was sickened by the essential takeover of the Capitol right from under the security. It was stunning and terrifying.
ReplyDeleteI'm proud that the Senators are going to resume the confirmation process now and hopefully the rest of the time will be spent moving forward to get this done.
Also, Fuck Trump and Cruz and Hawley.
