After his deadly, seditious coup attempt and months of stoking the lie that the election was stolen from him, culminating in his second impeachment, deranged demagogue and neo-fascist liar Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump finds his final poll numbers in office sinking fast.
In a CNN/SSRS poll released today, only 34% of the public approve of his job performance such as it is, considering he's been AWOL for months, working on his golf game and watching right- wing TV. A large majority -- 77% -- believe that the Republican Party should move on from Trump, with only 19% of the public believing that he should lead the party / cult going forward.
The approval numbers are even worse in the Pew Research Center poll released on Friday. Only 29% of the public approve of Trump's job performance. Trump's seditious conduct since the election has caused some of his support among his cult to shrink:
"The share of voters who rate Trump’s conduct since the election as only fair or poor has risen from 68% in November to 76%, with virtually all of the increase coming in his “poor” ratings (62% now, 54% then).
Trump voters, in particular, have grown more critical of their candidate’s post-election conduct. The share of his supporters who describe his conduct as poor has doubled over the past two months, from 10% to 20%." (our emphasis)
Trump exits ignominiously with a slew of suits and prosecutions awaiting him, becoming a pariah among the "elites" that he's always wanted to join, his business "brand" trashed. Accountability awaits him to answer for his life-long criminality.
