The QAnon Insurrectionist Party

Last night at a meeting of the House Republican conference this happened:

Whether it was "roughly half," a third or two- thirds, Republicans in the House have already demonstrated through their overwhelming vote to overturn the secure, free and fair election results that they're the party of QAnon and insurrection.  Seeing the vile, anti- Semitic, school shooting truther, Big Lie crackpot as someone worthy of a standing ovation (but not a vote condemning her despicable comments and behavior) tells you all you need to know about Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his coward caucus.

Today, Democrats will do the minimum of what the QAnon insurrectionist party failed to do:  strip this dangerous moron of her committee assignments.  A resolution to expel Greene will be introduced Friday by Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA), but will almost certainly fail since it requires a two- thirds vote.  A censure resolution is more likely to be passed, as it requires only a majority.  Regardless, Greene is the de facto head of the QAnon insurrectionist party in the House and will remain so under the protection of Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump.

The struggle didn't end on January 20, but having Greene as a prominent face of the Republican party means that Democrats will have a much better chance of holding and expanding power for the foreseeable future.
