Trump Fears Legal Action For His Riot Role

One of lying demagogue and mentally unstable loser Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump's biggest motivators to remain in the Presidency was avoiding the multiple court cases -- civil and criminal -- he would face as a private citizen. Those days are over, and in the coming weeks and months we can expect to see indictments headed his way, possibly including one from the acting U.S. Attorney for D.C. who is prosecuting Trump's violent January 6 insurrectionists (same with the District of Columbia's district attorney).

Trump's reported to be worried about being held legally liable for the events that day, potentially including incitement, sedition, and accessory to the murder of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick. According to the report, acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin is "looking at all actors" involved in the deadly insurrection, including riot instigator Trump and the speakers at the rally on the Ellipse that day, matching up the evidence with the alleged crime. Cynical windbag and hypocrite Sen. Moscow Mitch McConnell (after voting to acquit him) suggested that Trump will face accountability in civil and criminal courts for his role in the assault on the Capitol and democracy, something that Trump may have taken note of.

The best advice that Trump's bottom feeding lawyers should be giving him these days is to lay low, keep his big lying mouth shut, and make sure the checks he writes to them clear.

I've just about given up any hope that Teflon Don will ever be held to account for any of his crimes. Add insurrection to the pile of tax fraud, property fraud, rape, and whatever else they've got lined up for him, but he's gotten away with everything since he was born. Wake me when someone can actually arrest him and put him in prison. Until then, we're just dreaming.
