Pirates first baseman Will Craig could have simply ended the inning by tagging Báez, and the run wouldn't have scored. Pirates catcher Michael Perez got an error on the throw to first. Chicago ended up winning 5-3.

bluzdude -- lots of brainfarting there. The O's and the Bucs are in races to the bottom in their respective leagues, sadly.
Looks like something I would do. Take the easy way and take two steps back to the bag; no way. Make an adventure out of it and chase the runner for no good reason, heck ya.
