Since they don't have anything but obstruction of popular legislative proposals, and since their DNA is infected with racism, Republican / Trump cultists are flinging more "culture war" poo against the wall to see what sticks with their gullible followers. With the prodigious aid of Fux News and other right-wing media outlets, the mission is to distract, deceive and divide.
Republican-controlled state and local governments are rushing to "ban" critical race theory from instruction in schools, not even knowing what it is, but only that it studies systemic racism, something they're loath to discuss.
