It's The Coming Down That Matters

As billionaire self-promoter Richard Branson takes off in his vanity sub-orbital flight today, after posing in heroic style to signal everyone what a superior guy he is, it's worth remembering that, while the take off and flight are critically  important, it's how you come down that ultimately matters. And Branson has some rich experience with that:

Today in 1969, David Bowie released his hit "Space Oddity," nine days before Apollo 11 landed on the moon.  Interestingly (or not), Branson's flight is nine days ahead of fellow space cadet Jeff Bezos's sub-orbital ego trip in his phallic rocket. Coincidence? You be the judge!
