Following England's loss to Italy in the Euro 2021 football final on Sunday at Wembley, there was an outpouring of bigotry against three black players on the English team who missed decisive penalty kicks in a shootout: Marcus Rashford, Jaden Sancho, and Bukaya Saka. Almost immediately, the racist attacks were condemned by the British government and Prince William, who said he was "sickened" by the racism (the Royal Family is being accused of the same by the Sussexes).
Ever since, fans have been putting up messages of support for the trio. Here are several of hundreds put up on a mural featuring Rashford in Manchester, where he plays for Manchester United F.C. (click to enlarge):
