One of the most dramatic scenes in the opening Olympics ceremony in Tokyo was the stunning feat of getting nearly 2,000 drones in synch to form a world globe in the sky above the Olympic stadium. Another was the surprise appearance of tennis star Naomi Osaka as the final torch-bearer to light the Olympic flame. Given the limitations due to the pandemic, Japan did an extraordinary job of capturing the drama, spirit and energy of the Olympic games.

Of course, it wouldn't be the Olympics without Tonga flag bearer Pita Taufatofua oiled up to the gills, making his third slippery Olympics appearance. He'd better not be in the wrestling competition...
