Yesterday's domestic terrorist bomb threat at the Capitol by a follower of the seditionist former guy was a chilling reminder of the daily threat these deranged right-wingers pose. Yet there are Rethuglican Trumpists who would applaud his action, not the least of whom is Alabammy seditionist and nut Rep. Mo "No Mo" Brooks, who sympathized with the terrorist in a statement yesterday, excerpted below:
"Although this terrorist’s motivation is not yet publicly known, and generally speaking, I understand citizenry anger directed at dictatorial Socialism and its threat to liberty, freedom and the very fabric of American society. The way to stop Socialism’s march is for patriotic Americans to fight back in the 2022 and 2024 elections. I strongly encourage patriotic Americans to do exactly that more so than ever before. Bluntly stated, America’s future is at risk." (our emphasis)
Notice how Brooks claims ignorance of the terrorist's motivation, when the terrorist's own live statements from inside his truck and his social media accounts identify him as a Trumpist seditionist, spouting nonsense about President Biden stepping down, his Facebook page with pro-Trump statements and video from the "Million MAGA March," and his demand that Democrats "step down."
Brooks was infamously part of Trump's January 6 "stop the steal" seditionist rally prior to the insurrectionist attack on the Capitol, an activity for which he's being sued in Federal court. He told the mob to start "taking down names and kicking ass," just before they marched on the Capitol, while wearing body armor under his clothing apparently anticipating violence.
America's future is at risk, but not in the way fascist authoritarian Brooks thinks. His radical right wing terrorist movement is what poses the threat to America plain and simple, and he has to be removed from Congress.

I don't expect any less from these guys. They've lost whatever rational thinking skills they had when they chose allegiance to the former guy. Off topic, but I thought you'd enjoy the irony of this photo. A perfect metaphor...

Totally disgusting and you of course are correct.
Overall blame for the pile of shit we are standing in belongs to media. They got us here for a number of reasons all bad.
They could help our country out of this but they won't because they are them.
