The legendary Patsy Cline was a trailblazer for female vocalists, and not just in country music. She would have turned a venerable 89 today, had she not died in a plane crash in the Tennessee mountains in 1963, age 30. Her beautifully rich alto voice powered songs like "Crazy," "Walkin' After Midnight," and our tune today, 1961's "I Fall To Pieces."
