Sunday Reflection: Failure

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -- Johnny Cash from his 1975 autobiography "Man In Black." Cash struggled with demons including drug abuse over his long career, dying 18 years ago today, just months after his wife and musical partner June Carter Cash.  She more than anyone kept him from self-destruction and helped him build on failure.
