Trump's "Very Fine People" Go On Trial

Those who organized the white supremacist and KKK / Nazi march on Charlottesville in August 2017 -- the scumbags' disgraced demagogue and neo-fascist cult leader Donald "Loser" Trump called "very fine people" -- are facing trial today in Federal court. Calling themselves the "Unite The Right" rally, the extremist mob marched one evening with tiki torches to the Gen. Lee statue, chanting "Jews will not replace us" and "blood and soil," a notorious Nazi slogan. They also came ready to fight the people of Charlottesville with firearms, clubs and poles, ultimately killing Heather Heyer as one of their number plowed through the crowd with his car, injuring 19 more.

The nine plaintiffs in the civil trial are arguing that the "Unite The Right" organizers constituted a conspiracy to provoke racial and anti-Semitic violence, relying on a trove of documents and communications leading up to the rally. Appropriately, the plaintiffs are suing under the auspices of the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act, which was intended to protect African-Americans from harassment and physical attack. The defendants are a collection of lowlifes you'd expect to see on the racist KKK / Nazi fringe: Jason Kessler (the principal organizer), agitator Richard "Hail Trump" Spencer, Andrew Anglin (publisher of the Nazis' "Daily Stormer"), Christopher Cantwell (a.k.a., the "crying Nazi"), and Matthew Heimbach, the group's link to European fascist groups.

As for monetary damages, the Post reports:

"Though the lawsuit does not specify a dollar amount sought for damages, plaintiffs’ advocates said they hope to bankrupt the defendants. The lawsuit is backed by Integrity First for America, a civil rights nonprofit organization."  (our emphasis)

 Hit them hard.
