The Saturday Night Live cold open last night featured loud lush "Judge" Jeanine Pirro (Cicely Strong), wingnut self- medicator Aaron Rodgers (Pete Davidson), culture war weasel Glenn Youngkin (Alex Moffat), a "Virginia parent" (Heidi Gardner), and the Malignant Loser (James Austin Johnson) -- a quintet of kooks, quacks and cranks. Congrats especially to Rodgers who, after fronting as a sane/ smart guy for his entire career, has now become a punch line as the gullible, self- centered, right- wing crackpot that he really is.
