News Item: Tucker Carlson claims COVID "feminizes" men.
Speaking to British white nationalist Nigel Farage on his "Tucker Carlson Today" streaming, steaming pile, Carlson said about Conservative British Prime Minister Boris "Cop Cosplay" Johnson:
“So somebody who knows him told me ― and I’d be interested in getting your take on this ― that getting COVID emasculated him, it changed him, it feminized him, it weakened him as a man." (our emphasis)
After Farage tried to deflect from that inanity, Carlson continued:
“But the virus itself. This is true ― does tend to take away the life force in some people, I notice. I mean, it does feminize people. No one ever says that, but it’s true.” (our emphasis)
Maybe no one ever says that because it's nonsense. Also, you'll recall that Carlson's cult leader, lying demagogue Donald "Loser" Trump, had a severe case of COVID a little over a year ago, so he may want to tip toe away from his diagnosis so as not to anger Dear Leader.
The far-right Christofascist obsession with what they regard as "masculinity" has found expression in gun fetishizing, rejection of masks and vaccines, misogynist attacks on women in powerful positions, campaigns against rights for LGBTQ people, and more. It's more of their reactionary, "traditional values" agitprop that looks to a past where white men ruled unquestioned over everyone else.
