Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Suite" (Op. 71), culled from his original ballet "The Nutcracker," is one of the most beloved seasonal musical traditions. Here it's performed by the Utah Symphony Orchestra and University of Utah chorus, under the direction of Maurice Abravanel.
On a lighter note, the second part of our musical twofer is from Bob Dylan's 2009 album, "Christmas in the Heart," the proceeds of which went to Feeding America and food programs internationally. It's a polka/ klezmer version of "Must Be Santa," written by William Fredericks and Hal Moore.
