"The Justice Department remains committed to holding all January 6th
perpetrators, at any level, accountable under law — whether they were
present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the
assault on our democracy. We will follow the facts wherever they lead." -- from Attorney General Merrick Garland's speech today on the eve of the anniversary of the January 6 insurrection. When the January 6 committee completes its work and submits criminal referrals to the Justice Department (likely supplemented by evidence gathered by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's office), we'll see how these words will or won't be translated into action against the coup plotters up to and including the Malignant Loser. We're hopeful enough today to believe they will.
BONUS: We're not alone.
Between g arland allowing the case against "individual 1" of the Cohan case ( wher he went to jail over stormy Daniels bribe) statute of limitations and the very near date of the fraud case about demented donnie's multiple scams around his inaugral committe fund raiseing ( including illegal foriegn contributions) and self dealing on the fees for use of his hotels etc. statute of limitations.

Garland will announce in several years now that he regretfully ( crocadile tears) can't or won't prosecute because of statute of limitations or because of "political" sensitivety.
Garland is a card carrying member of thuglican "useful" idiots or fellow travelers.
Anon -- hard pass on all that.
